Russel Effandy, Dip CII is the CII Goodwill Ambassador for Indonesia and the Head of Expansion Project for NASCO Insurance Group in South East Asia. Based in Jakarta, he brings over three decades of engineering, executive management, and underwriting expertise across the regional insurance and reinsurance sectors.
Russel is an engineer by training who entered the insurance and reinsurance industry in 1992. Since April 2014, he has led key regional initiatives for NASCO Insurance Group, driving strategic expansion projects throughout South East Asia.
Throughout his 30+ year career, Russel has accumulated extensive multi-market underwriting and leadership experience with global and regional market leaders, including:
